GOLF COURSE RULES
1. ALL GOLFERS MUST
REGISTER IN THE PRO SHOP
PRIOR TO PLAYING.
2. The Pro Shop attendant
has the authority to
enforce all golf rules.
3. Members should play
foursomes on weekends and
holidays.
4. Groups - Members may
bring up to seven guests on
weekdays (not holidays) by making prior arrangements
with the Head Golf Professional. Larger groups or
weekend groups are subject to special conditions
established by the Board of Directors. Contact the
office for details and/or approval.
5. Guests of a member are
allowed to play no more than
five (5) times during the year. The only exception to
this
rule is house guests.
6. Reserving
Tee Times
7. “Club Skins Game”
a. The game will start between 7:00-8:30 with
the first tee time varying throughout the season.
b. No game on Holidays
c. A maximum of 8 tee times will be blocked off.
d. Sign up for the next weekend must be made by
the Monday before to allow for distribution of
the extra tee times on Tuesday.
e. The sign up list will consist of 32 players,
plus an alternate list.
f. The Club Pro will run the game.
8. Observe all rules
posted on the golf course,
on the scorecard, and in the Pro Shop.
9. All golfers are
encouraged to play the ball down
at all times.
10. All “beginners” should
avoid interfering
with the play of more experienced players.
11. Dress
appropriately from May 1st through
September 30
12. Every member is
obligated to follow the course rules
and is responsible for his guests.
13. Parents are
responsible for the conduct of
their children. This includes use of proper golf
etiquette.
14. Slower players must
let fast players play through.
Play fast, play courteous.
15. No “shagging” or
practice putting will be
allowed on the golf course, except in designated areas.
16. BALL MARKS MUST BE
REPAIRED AND DIVOTS
REPLACED. EVERY GOLFER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR
REPAIRING HIS OWN. A BALL MARK REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY
HEALS IN 24 HOURS. A BALL MARK LEFT ONE HOUR
TAKES 15 DAYS TO HEAL.

17. No metal spikes, only
spikeless golf and
alternative spike golf shoes are permitted on the
golf
course. |
