Ladies Day is from 8:00 until 11:00 AM on Wednesdays
from
May through September. The course is open to all
Arrowhead
ladies. Tee times for those making their own groups may
be
made from 8:00 until 8:45 AM and from 10:00 until 11:00
AM.
Ladies will be paired up and have a shotgun start at
9:00 AM.
All WGA members are eligible for the league game as long
as
they sign up in the Pro Shop and tee off or shotgun
between
8:00 and 11:00 AM. Scorecards need to be turned in to
the
Pro Shop after play and scores will be figured by the
Pro Shop
staff.
THE W.G.A. GOALS ARE:
1. To provide competitive golf through league play.
2. To promote awareness of the Rules of Golf
and the Etiquette of Play.
3. To promote camaraderie and friendship among the
women of
ARROWHEAD COUNTRY CLUB.
4. To sponsor golf functions throughout the year.
5. To get more women on the golf course!
Membership in the W.G.A.
entitles you to:
1. W.G.A. book listing members.
2. Eligibility to compete or participate in any W.G.A.
sponsored event and tournament.
3. The W.G.A. will pay $100.00 to any of its members who
card a hole-in-one in a W.G.A. event.
You must be a W.G.A.
member to play in W.G.A. sponsored
events or tournaments. A minimum of five scores
(five 9 hole
scores or five 18-hole scores) are
necessary to establish a
handicap.
The course is open for
ladies not playing with the league
(except on guest days and other special events). Please
call
the Pro Shop to reserve a tee time. |
