SPECIAL POLICIES
CONCERNING MEMBERSHIP
1. Number of
Members – Membership is limited
to a
maximum of 424 memberships.
2. Use of Club – Family members and their
children
and single members have full use of
the club facilities.
3. Divorce – Any member experiencing
dissolution
of marriage must contact the club
office within
fifteen days of the decree to clarify
ownership of the
membership and member
owned cart (if applicable).
As long as all dues and fees
are kept current, both
parties are allowed to finish out
the calendar year with
full membership privileges. The party not being granted
ownership may apply for
membership beginning the next
calendar year
and will be allowed membership with a
waiver of
initiation fees. Upon acceptance by the Board
of
Directors, the two memberships will become
two
separate entities, but both will retain the
same privileges
with respect to longevity as
the original membership.
4. Inactive Status Qualifications
a. Must have experienced employment relocation
and moved at least fifty miles away from the Club or
must
have experienced a medical situation which temporarily
impedes the member's ability to use the facilities.
b. Initiation fees must be paid in full or must
continue
to be paid as per the contractual agreement. If payment
is not made as per the agreement, the
member forfeits
the inactive status.
c. Inactive status approved must remain as such for
the balance of that current year. Upon return, the
person must re-apply and their name will be placed
on the top of the membership waiting list.
d. Inactive status shall become effective the first of
the month following board approval, or at a later month
if requested.
e. A one hundred ($100.00) annual maintenance fee
will be charged for those wishing to remain on the
inactive status list. Contact the Club Manager
for specifics.
5. How to Join – Any person wishing to join
should
complete an application. The
application requires a
deposit. The
application will be
considered at the Board
Meeting following receipt. The person will
then be
informed of his status on the
waiting
list. If, when an
opening occurs, the person
decides not to join, the
deposit will not be
refunded. |
